COMPOSITION: – LINEZOLID 600 MG CEFIXIME 200 MG PACKING: – 1X10 M.R.P: – 490 LINEWAR-C Tablet (LINEZOLID 600 MG CEFIXIME 200 MG) is a combination of two anti-biotics molecules: Cefixime and Linezolid. Cefixime inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall, therefore the multiplication of the bacteria is hindered. On the other hand Linezolid prohibits the bacterial growth by interrupting in the formation of proteins essential for the bacteria to function. LINEWAR-C Tablet (LINEZOLID 600 MG CEFIXIME 200 MG) is an effective combination to eradicate the infection completely. MECHANISM OF ACTION: – Linezolid inhibits ribosomal protein synthesis as it is a bacteriostatic oxazolidinone. It acts against Gram ve bacteria. Cefixime is a third generation cephalosporin anti-biotic which binds to specific penicillin binding proteins (PBP`S). This binding inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall. INDICATIONS: – LINEWAR-C Tablet (LINEZOLID 600 MG CEFIXIME 200 MG) is indicated in the treatment of Typhoid and few other Respiratory Infections.
