Description A Good Ox & Bucks, later Worc’s Regiment group. India General Service 1908-35, clasp, Burma 1930-32, 5379613 Pte. H. W. Llewellyn. Oxf. & Bucks. L.I.; General Service 1918-62, clasp, Palestine, 5379513 [sic] Pte. H. Llewellyn. Worc. R., number partially officially corrected; 1939-45 Star; Africa Star; Burma Star; Defence and War Medals 1939-45, Private H. W. Llewellyn, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, later Worcestershire Regiment W. Llewellyn penned an article for the Regimental Journal of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, titled ‘My Experiences in Palestine’, a copy of which is included in the lot, which details an engagement at Beni-Naim which he was involved in, amongst other details. Also with the medals is a sheet detailing the room duties of men from Major Plowden’s Company , which includes Llewellyn, and states he enlisted 18th February 1930. Condition – edge bruising and contact marks, generally very fine.
